Meet the Team
Leadership & Management

At Sheepwash Farm Day Nursery leadership and management is crucial to our progress. Our leadership team is a highly qualified and experienced group of early years educators.
Our provision is supervised by a team leader, a deputy and early years educators who are highly experienced reflective practitioners. All early years educators are supported by management through: in-house training, coaching to develop practice, mentoring and supervision. An ethos of cooperation is fostered as part of our provisions approach.
Charmaine Eagles has been involved in the nursery from design to construction. She has ensured that:
Facilities at Sheepwash Farm Day Nursery encourage our children to learn and develop new skills. We deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and believe our unique setting on the farm is also where the children can enjoy the outside inside through low-level windows providing clear viewing areas to the farm. The environment is rich, valuable, fun and an inspiring source for learning and development.
The large spacious outdoor play areas offer free flow indoor/outdoor play. This rich and valuable outdoor space provides a stimulating environment for our pre-school children and includes a sensory garden. The outdoor play area includes fun and exciting play dens and a large polytunnel greenhouse which serves as an outdoor classroom.
We believe the farm environment, with extensive safe outdoor play areas, offers a unique setting where children can learn, develop and reach their full potential. The children can enjoy farm walks, observing the day to day running of the farm, watching the farm animals as well as collecting eggs from the resident hens. We have a vegetable garden which is tended by the children and a small nursery wood.
